..the show from Boston on this date in 1980 was already mentioned earlier this week, however an alternate source for the phenomenal section of the 2nd set is also available on "dead.net" coutesy of David Lemieux:

Ship Of Fools>Estimated Prophet>He’s Gone>Caution Jam>Drums (MP3 66.04MB)

...but the real gem for today requires that today's date be manipulated into: 1981-12-05 (Indianapolis, IN) == I was pointed to this show for the "CC Rider" (which is unlike any version I ever heard), but upon reading the reviews for the show naturally I began listening to other selections as well. I don't know how to describe it; it speaks for itself.

Good Morning to you brother...I had a few sleepless ones this week too.

Nice show, I am lovin it, just like I love all the other early 80's gems. I am on CC Rider now, let's see what the surprise is... OK, that was friggin awesome...go bobby go go...bobby be good.

I am gearing up to play in my hometown in July, practicing with a band of childhood friends from 9000 miles away -- when we pull this off, I will send you a smile.

Any suggestions for cover songs? Of course I will be on top of 2nd that Emotion, Tom Thumbs, Midnight Hour, Running On Faith (this one's for you) and Deep Elm > GDTRFB.

Happy Weekend,
Jeremy

PS. Blobby is a ham and here's a pic for you.

stilldead77:
..good to hear from you. My first show was 28-yrs/ago today at UMass; nothin' special..next shows were the ones from Cape Cod (Oct. '79).
Have you performed in a similar setting as the one in a couple of months or will it bes the first time? What is the occassion? -- or, more specifically, what type of audience are you playin' for. I will follow-up via email when I get my laptop back later today.

Be well, stilldead77; I've gotta get the strength to get up and fly away soon --- 18-months is just way too long, --- AshesRising ("The Good Lord willin'" naturally......)

I am organizing a community charity event for a teen who injured his spinal cord in a football game. A benefit walk, a raffle, fun activities, two bands and a humanitarian awards ceremony. I never played back home before. This will be special. Have been away for 11 years.

Thanks for asking.
